This a shot of the former Bank of Adelaide.
A little history on the building from a "State Heritage Areas of South Australia" document about Port Adelaide's Lipson Street banks (PDF:[link]
) from the SA Department for Environment and Heritage:
Constructed in 1885 by Kestel and Burge, this is an outstanding bank building that has survived intact from the boom period of the 1880s. It is believed that the Bank of Adelaide was temporarily housed next door at 116 Lipson Street (now G.G. McLachlan & Co) prior to completion of these premises.
During the 1980s the former Bank of Adelaide building housed the popular Lipson House Restaurant, and later La Banca Restaurant. Today (2005) it is a private dwelling.
